About EduBid
EduBid is an online technology marketplace that connects adult students with independent tutors.
EduBid does not provide tutoring, educational instruction, coursework completion, grading, or academic services. EduBid provides the technology that allows students and tutors to connect, communicate, submit bids, process payments, and resolve disputes.
All educational services offered through the Platform are provided solely by independent tutors.
Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use EduBid. By using the Platform, you represent that:
– You are at least 18 years of age.
– You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
– All information you provide is accurate.
– You will comply with all applicable laws and institutional policies.
Student Accounts
Students may create an account to:
– Post tutoring requests
– Upload assignments or study materials
– Request proofreading or editing
– Request study plans
– Receive bids from tutors
– Communicate with tutors
– Accept tutor bids
– Leave ratings and reviews
Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Tutor Accounts
Tutor accounts require approval before offering services.
EduBid may approve, reject, suspend, or remove tutor accounts at its sole discretion.
Tutors are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of EduBid.
Tutors are solely responsible for:
– Their qualifications
– Their communications
– Their educational advice
– Their taxes
– Compliance with applicable laws
The Bidding System
EduBid allows tutoring opportunities described below;

– Students are under no obligation to accept any bid.
Or a student may participate in the subject auction area CLICK HERE.
Independent tutors may submit bids stating:
– Price
– Estimated hours
– Availability
– Proposed assistance
Payments
Payment is due when a student accepts a tutor’s bid.
EduBid will hold funds until the tutoring session or agreed services have been completed or otherwise resolved under these Terms.
EduBid may deduct platform fees before releasing payment.
EduBid reserves the right to delay, withhold, or reverse payments when investigating fraud, abuse, policy violations, or disputes.
Academic Integrity
EduBid exists to support learning—not academic dishonesty.
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
– Completing graded assignments on behalf of students
– Taking quizzes or examinations for another person
– Impersonating a student
– Providing cheating services
– Circumventing academic integrity rules
– Falsifying academic work
Permitted services include tutoring, coaching, explaining concepts, proofreading, editing, study planning, feedback, and similar educational assistance.
EduBid may remove any content or terminate any account believed to violate this policy.
Student Responsibility
Students remain solely responsible for:
– Their education
– Their coursework
– Their submitted assignments
– Compliance with school policies
– All decisions regarding the use of tutoring services
EduBid does not review or approve assignments submitted by students.
No Guarantee of Results
EduBid makes no guarantee regarding:
– Grades
– GPA improvements
– Test scores
– Admissions
– Certifications
– Employment opportunities
– Academic success
Educational outcomes depend on numerous factors beyond EduBid’s control, including student effort, instructor expectations, institutional policies, and assessment methods.
Ratings and Reviews
EduBid encourages students review tutors.
Tutors may review students where permitted.
Reviews must be truthful and based upon actual experiences.
EduBid may remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or otherwise violate these Terms.
User Content
Users retain ownership of the materials they upload.
By uploading content, you grant EduBid a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Platform.
You represent that you have the legal right to upload all submitted materials.
Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
– Violate laws
– Harass others
– Upload malicious software
– Commit fraud
– Misrepresent identity
– Circumvent payments
– Interfere with Platform operations
– Abuse other users
– Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
Platform Availability
EduBid strives to maintain reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Platform may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
Disputes
EduBid may investigate disputes between students and tutors.
EduBid may review communications, uploaded materials, and transaction records when resolving disputes.
EduBid reserves sole discretion regarding payment releases and dispute outcomes.
Suspension and Termination
EduBid may suspend or permanently terminate any account that:
– Violates these Terms
– Engages in fraud
– Violates academic integrity policies
– Creates safety concerns
– Misuses the Platform
Termination may occur without prior notice.
Disclaimer
The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
EduBid makes no warranties regarding:
– Tutor qualifications
– Tutor availability
– Educational quality
– Accuracy of information
– Platform availability
– User conduct
– Academic outcomes
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduBid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or relating to use of the Platform.
EduBid’s total liability shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by the user during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EduBid, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
EduBid may modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
